Section 1. The world is big§

~40countries so far, and growing

A tent on green grass with a pair of colourful sneakers outside and a bare foot poking out of the door.
Figure 2. Field conditions. Shoes outside, subject inside.

The world is so big and interesting that I don’t think I’ll ever run out of it. Every time I see a place for the first time I try to write down what I saw and how it felt. Nearly all of those notes live on Instagram, which is the closest thing I have to a travel blog. A real one may come someday. Not now.

Figure 3. A grid of fifty marks; thirty-eight are filled in, one is outlined in orange, the rest are dotted.
Figure 3. One mark per country. Filled: been there. Orange: next. Dotted: the world keeps making more.

Section 2. When not travelling§

Mountains
With family, whenever possible. The Tatras are two hours from Kraków, which is close enough to be a problem.
Pétanque
I play, and I work with pétanque federations. If you’ve never tried it, I’ll show you. Five minutes to learn, a lifetime to argue about.
Padel, lately
Not picky about the sport. Picky about the company.
Home
Board games, cooking, good movies, people I like. Ideally all four at once.
Music
A lot of instruments at home. I get to them about once every year or two. They are patient.

Section 3. Things I believe§

Agree on where you’re going first
Most arguments are two people who want different things and never said so. Once that’s on the table, the rest usually sorts itself out.
Trust is built in the open
Say what’s going on, admit the mistake early, do what you said you would. That’s the whole recipe. It’s also what lets people move fast without checking on each other.
There is always something new
There are so many things we don’t know. Any day, something can change how you see the world. I find that comforting, not scary.

Section 4. Dreams on the list§

Keep moving till the end.

Travel as much as possible
See above. The counter is not a goal, the places are.
Be happy with my family
Mountains, board games, cooking, good movies. Preferably all of it, often.
Learn and explore
There are so many things we don’t know. Something new can change how you see the world any day.
Keep moving till the end
Literally and otherwise.

How to work with me: values, leadership style, what to expect, feedback, working hours. About an 8-minute read. Written for my team, open to anyone.
